Cosmic Tiles is built on a simple principle: your personal information belongs to you, not to us. We have made deliberate architectural decisions to ensure that no personal data is ever collected, transmitted, or stored on any server we operate.
None whatsoever. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, physical address, or any other identifying information. There are no registration forms, no login screens, and no account creation flows anywhere on our site. When you visit Cosmic Tiles, you are completely anonymous to us.
Every game on Cosmic Tiles is a self-contained HTML, CSS, and JavaScript application that runs entirely inside your web browser. There is no server-side processing, no database queries, and no API calls to our infrastructure. Your browser downloads the game files and executes them locally — the same way it would open any ordinary web page.
If a game saves your progress or high scores, it does so using your browser's built-in localStorage feature. This is a small data store that lives on your device, is controlled by your browser, and is completely invisible to us. We have no technical ability to read, modify, or delete your localStorage data. If you clear your browser's site data, your saved progress will be permanently erased because no backup exists anywhere else.
Cosmic Tiles does not set any cookies — not first-party, not third-party, not session cookies, not persistent cookies. We do not use web beacons, pixel tags, fingerprinting scripts, or any other tracking technology. We do not integrate Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, Mixpanel, or any similar analytics or advertising platform.
The only external service our pages contact is Google Fonts, which provides the typefaces used in our design. When your browser loads a page, it requests font files from Google's content delivery network. This request includes your IP address as part of standard HTTP protocol. We have no control over how Google processes that request, and we do not add any tracking parameters to it. No other third-party services, ad networks, or external scripts are embedded in our pages.
Because Cosmic Tiles collects absolutely no personal information from any visitor, our games are inherently safe for children of all ages. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as it applies to minors, and equivalent regulations worldwide — not through complex consent mechanisms, but through the simple fact that there is no data to protect or misuse.
If we ever modify this privacy policy, the revised text will be posted on this page with an updated effective date at the top. Since we do not collect email addresses or any contact information, we cannot send you notifications about changes — which is itself a reflection of our privacy-first approach.
